Two coastlines have shaped me.

I grew up on the west coast of South Africa (Lambert’s Bay and Clanwilliam) and now live on the north-east coast of Scotland — Findhorn. The sea, it turns out, is not negotiable.

I trained as an architect, practising for over two decades, before completing a Fine Arts diploma and turning toward photography, writing, illustration and design. I currently divide my time between creative practise and employment.

Before Scotland: Cornwall, London, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Leiden & Den Haag.

I walk. I travel. I read, and long to make a book of my own — one that draws together photography, writing and illustration.
